PE Activities

Today in PE (08/12) we had the most wonderful time with the parachute! This was the first time we played with the parachute and it definitely wont be the last! We all stood at a different colour and played different games which involved switching to different colours and walking and running in different directions with the parachute. Catherine had great fun trying to make it harder to control it when she threw the tennis balls in!We loved when we all got under the parachute with Larry and Tadhg as flagpoles! We re definitely going to try this again soon!

Singing in Room 7!

Some of the boys who enjoy singing in the Children's choir in the parish have been sharing their songs in the classroom.Tiernan, Oscar and Luke love singing and we are so proud that they got the opportunity to sing one of their favourite hymns over the intercom. It was called "The Journey" and it was really lovely. Well done boys

Weather Rangers

This week it was the turn of the boys in Room 7 to take on the role of Weather Rangers. Oscar,Theo,Ethan and Conor took on these roles with great enthusiasm! They monitored the weather very diligently throughout the week and retold the information they gathered over the intercom. In addition to this the boys read poems about the weather to the school.Next week they will be continuing with this new fun and informative activity.Best of luck Rangers!

The Sam Maguire visit!

The boys in Room 7 really enjoyed the visit of Bernard Brogan to the school on November the 7th. Bernard entered the hall amidst great cheers and applause. He spoke very well with the boys and took time to answer the questions they posed. We all really enjoyed the visit. Here are some pictures of the event.
